The Rochester Academy of Medicine, founded in 1900, provides continuing medical education for the medical community and sponsors grants and awards for medical students, interns, residents and physicians.

The Academy also coordinates outreach programs for health care in the community and sponsors health, medical and scientific programs for the community.
