Sue Layton is serving as the Continuing Medical Education and Programs Director at the Rochester Academy of Medicine. Sue is passionate about providing educational opportunities and events that could lead to bringing better health to the community.
Sue has over twenty years of experience providing learning experiences. Prior to joining the Academy, she engaged students in grades N-5 in STEM learning at Allendale Columbia School in Rochester, NY. She continued to advance learning as Head of School and Teacher Programs at the Rochester Museum and Science Center. Sue led volunteers and staff in program development and implementation for the school and teacher audiences. Previously, she also served as an educator at aquariums, science centers and schools in Massachusetts and Georgia.
Sue attended Hiram College as an undergraduate, and earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology. She continued her education to receive her Master of Education degree from Armstrong Atlantic State University.
