In Memoriam: Laurie Militello
July 19, 1967 – March 31, 2022

Laurie Militello served as the CME and Programs Director for the Rochester Academy of Medicine, dedicating more than a decade of her professional life to advancing the Academy’s mission. Laurie joined the Academy in 2012 and held several roles during her tenure, each marked by her deep commitment, professionalism, and care for the work she did and the people she served.

Laurie’s dedication to the Academy was firmly rooted in its Mission and Vision, and she consistently embodied its core values of Collaboration, Integrity, Leadership, and Diversity. Through her leadership, Laurie helped shape educational programs that strengthened the medical community and fostered meaningful connections among healthcare professionals.

Laurie is remembered not only for her contributions to the Academy, but also for her warmth, generosity, and unwavering dedication. Her impact continues to be felt throughout the organization and the community she cared for so deeply.
